This is a Pump Storage Project (i.e. hydro project with reversible turbines) and is proposed to be developed at Sileru, Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh.

iValue was part of the project team for planning/execution of site survey & geological investigations at Upper Sileru Project site, while working with WAPCOS. Team iValue also participated deeply to evaluate layout possibilities and to finalize the project layout, review of Feasibility study, preparation & finalization of DPR chapters.

Further, iValue team provided technical support and actively coordinated with Central Water Commission & Central Electricity Authority at New Delhi to get the techno-economic concurrence by the Government on the Upper Sileru DPR. The DPR has finally been approved by CEA in June’2023. 

With the expedited follow ups /discussions by iValue, the above DPR approval process was completed efficiently by CEA/CWC in optimized time and consequently the Power Ministry appreciated the approval on its official government website as ‘Fast -Track Approval of DPR from CEA’ in record time. The construction of the project is expected to start soon after the process of tender award.
