The team members have hands-on experience in multiple hydro projects and handled Engineering issues at Project Construction site and finalized Detailed Project designs. Team members received appreciation in various hydro projects for successfully completing systematic inter-disciplinary coordination, Project monitoring, tracking Construction Schedule, evaluating bottlenecks in advance, value engineering, detailed designs & specialized pro-active support for various field problems.
OUR WORK
We have the honor of being associated with the project progress monitoring and third-party inspection at project site & detailed civil design review of prestigious Polavaram Hydroelectric Project (960MW), being developed in Andhra Pradesh.
This is a Pump Storage Project (i.e hydro with reversible turbines) and is being developed at Sileru, Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. iValue was part of the team for planning/execution of site survey & geological investigations at Upper Sileru Project site.
We contributed for finalization of field studies & investigation activities with government teams (i.e. APGENCO/WAPCOS) to finalize the best possible alternatives for enhancing project generation capacities ). .
iValue supported M/S Navayuga site team for starting Sundilla Barrage Construction and equipment planning in 2017 and further in successive years progressively contributed & participated for monitoring of Project execution works.
This irrigation project has been declared a National Project. Govt. of AP, Water Resources Department (WRD) is the Executing Agency for Polavaram Irrigation Project (PIP). Construction of around 1.1 km long concrete spillway was taken up in 2016.
Detailed design for Earthen Dam with all ancillary structures (in respect of Alternative Water Supply Scheme (15MLD) of Aizawal in state of Mizoram, India) was assigned to iValue Advisors in 2019-20 by M/S Kram.
iValue team finalized the Detailed design of Barrage of 40MW Rahughat Hydro Electric Project (RGHEP), located in Myagdi district, Western Development Region of Nepal. The Project envisages utilization of the water of river Rahuganga for power generation on a
iValue finalized the detailed design studies for developing Dam Project layout, associated hydraulic studies, detailed designs of Earthen DAM & Concrete Stepped SPILLWAY for the project located in Mizoram, India. We finalized technical specifications for a Pumped storage plant as per requirement of the client (M/S Afcons).
Mr PK Kaushik, leading our team devoted for hydro power assignments, strive to successfully complete the assignments in most optimized time and help the team by providing technical inputs & by best resource utilization. He played lead role in Review of Designs, Detailed Engineering, Project Progress Review & Construction Monitoring etc in last 33 years. He performed key role in finalizing studies for expediting Site construction Works and worked to accomplish all design requirements from the concept to commissioning of large Hydro-electric Projects with installed capacities ranging from 300MW to 1500MW.
While working around 10 years (1990 to 2000) in Government PSUs like Tehri Hydro Development Corp. (THDC) & Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) and later during 2000 to 2016 in Jaypee Hydro Group, Mr. Kaushik has finalized multiple hydro project designs and worked in close coordination with Experts of International repute.
He formulated Barrage operation & hydraulic schemes for two barrages constructed in thermal plants (500MW Bina Thermal Power Plant & 1320MW Jaypee Nigrie Thermal Power Plant). Also participated to devise solutions to Site Problems during Operation & Maintenance Stage of already commissioned Hydro Projects.
During commissioning of 450MW Baglihar HEP, successfully discharged the role of Lead Coordinator. Presently involved in many upcoming projects along with review of civil detailed designs of Polavaram HEP.
Also contributed few technical papers in national & international seminars/workshops out of which “Cable Anchoring in Tail Race Outfall Structure on NJHEP” was adjudged as the “BEST PAPER” for the year 1999 by ISMRTT under category “Application of Rock Mechanics in Hill development” at CWC, New Delhi.

Chairman of the iValue Advisors Mr. S K Dixit, also has core experience of construction management of hydro projects. He discharged responsibilities of Head of Project /Top Management Executive/Managing Director from Contractor side (Jaypee Group) during planning & execution of several EPC hydro projects. He had active involvement in the Project Management of the construction of large Hydro Power Projects like Sardar Sarovar (Gujrat), Tehri Dam (Uttarakhand), Lakhwar Vyasi (Uttarakhand), Nathpa Jhakri HEP (HP), Chamera-II and Irrigation project like Karjan Dam (Gujrat).
He was deeply involved in development, financing, and structuring of India’s first Public Private Partnership (PPP) Hydro Project – 300 MW Baspa in power sector. He spearheaded the finalization of the Project Implementation Agreements to capture the best practices being followed internationally for Hydro Power assets for Baspa HEP (300MW) & Karcham Wangtoo (1000MW).
